Ilfracombe Harbour - The harbour in Ilfracombe Devon.

This beautiful harbour is one of the most visited attractions in Devon with tourists strolling round virtually all the year. There are plenty of pubs, restaurants, plus the typical tourist shops offering gifts and novelties. A favourite is to buy a bag of chips or ice cream and just sit and admire the view. Pleasure boat trips can be caught here for trips along this spectacular section of coast and to see the local wildlife. Anglers throng the end of the pier in all weathers catching mackerel, wrasse, dogfish alongside children with their crab lines only disturbed by the occasional ferry to Lundy Island. Inshore and offshore angling trips can be arranged as well. Limited parking is available on the pier itself except at times of very high tides and stormy conditions.
